MISSION STATEMENT
Purpose
The basic purpose of Living Waters Family Worship Center is three-fold
1. Exalt Jesus Christ
2. Expand the Kingdom of God
3. Equip Believers
Mission
The overall mission of the Living Waters Family Worship Center is basic and simple. We exist to love Jesus and to love people, to lead others to a relationship with Him. This is bom out the belief, if men and woman are to live in an unstable world there must be something that provides them stability. It is this thrust that has provided the catalyst for the Living Waters Family Worship Center to find its Mission. God's word challenges us to find a way to correct the social ills of our world, as well as provide us the tools to accomplish the task.
THEREFORE, our mission is
To minister to hurting people. We do not look at race, color, or former background. Anyone from any walk or status in life is readily welcomed and warmly received. We believe that church should be like a box of crayons that colors the world, and a bag of jellybeans that gives our world flavor!
To be a Pentecostal church with a relevant and refreshing Pentecostal message. Having come through the charismatic renewal, we believe there is a strong and urgent need for roots and stability that can be found in Word of God. The Shenendoah Valley is ripe for a real and relevant theologically sound New Testament message and Ministry.
To provide a well-balanced ministry for the whole family. We seek to serve as a catalyst to bring renewal and healing to the home and family. Though we are tucked away in the Shenendoah Valley, we have not been sheltered from the attacks of Satan on the home and families of our nation. This church is committed to bringing restoration and healing and significance back to our homes.
Vision
Our immediate vision and goal for our church is three-fold as well
1. To minister to 250 people in our Sunday morning services
2. To train and equip those that God is sending us
3. To provide the finances necessary to minister to the hurting people God is bringing to us.
